St. Mark Square, Basilica and Doge's Palace
Saint Mark’s Square is Venice’s undisputed symbol and the most beautiful square in the world.
This visit will help you discover the origins and the history of Saint Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace with its thousand years of art, history and power as the Hall of the Great Council, the Hall of the Senate and the Hall of the “Collegio” with its famous wall-paintings by Tintoretto, Tiziano and Veronese, bear witness to. There is also a visit of the Prisons and the Bridge of Sighs.
At the end of the Tour, you will be able to visit a glassworks on Murano to watch the artistic elaboration of the glass (the visit is optional). To visit the Basilica, suitable clothing is required. For security reasons, backpacks and bags cannot be taken into the Basilica, and visits are not allowed during liturgical ceremonies.
